If you are looking to regain your allure by enhancing the fullness of your hair, we would recommend
Fusion Hair Extensions to you. This is a process in which a bunch of your own hair is fused to
a wad of human hair strands by means of some adhesive material. Fusion
Hair Extensions can be carried out by means of a hot fusion tool, when
it is referred to as "hot" fusion or by a method which is newer where
keratin-based polymer is utilized to bind together the two forms of
hair. No heat is used in the process. However, the "hot" treatment being
more time-tested is more frequently availed of by ladies exercising the
Fusion Hair Extensions option.
Some
people have reservations about Fusion Hair Extensions because they
worry that the extra hair which is fused in may feel stiff and tight.
Allow us to put your mind at rest on this count because all those we
know who have been through Fusion Hair Extensions have told us that they
don't feel a thing after the initial couple of days. The other fear
expressed by some is that Fusion Hair Extensions may harm their own
hair. Please believe us when we say that you need have no fear on this
count either. On the contrary, we have encountered ladies whose own hair
has undergone a change for the better after Fusion Hair Extensions because the added hair helps protect the original hair from the environment.
COLD
FUSION (MICRO BEADS/LINKS), are small links that are threaded on to the
natural hair causing no damage, then the extension which are
individually tip and rolled into the shape of a shoelace is then
inserted into the link and clamped closed. This method is more preferred
for those who's hair breaks easily, or want a non damaging experience.
HOT
FUSION (GLUE_TIPS) are pre-dipped with a keratin based hot glue, heat
is applied and then rolled to fuse together the natural hair, and the
extensions. while this may last longer then the micro beading technique. We highly recommend, the keratin fusions because of the less maintenance.
Both methods are safe for your hair.
Hair Extensions Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a consultation?
Yes, a consultation is required to decide if this service is right for
you and to answer your questions. During the consultation, your stylist
will analyze your hair to determine the color, type, and quantity of
extensions you will require to achieve your desired look.
Are hair extensions suitable for me?
Hair extensions are perfect for most people. However, there could be
factors, such as unsuitable current hair condition, hair loss, or hair
damage that could prevent extensions from being an option.
What type of hair?
The best quality is 100% Remy Virgin hair
Which means that the hair has never been treated for texture or color.
That means that the hair is natural and chemical free which allows the
hair to last longer and offers the most natural look. Virgin Indian
hair also is a favorite for women who want natural looking highlights or
plan on coloring their hair.
Please keep in mind that we can blend Remy hair with other Remy hair, to help achieve the look you want.We only offer 100% remy virgin hair while others offer 100% human hair.
Which extensions are best for me?
We base this answer on a few simple factors: What
is your hair length to begin with? What length do you want to make your hair?,
Is your hair thick or fine?, What is your head size?, What is your hair
texture, straight, wavy, curly? Is your hair fragile or strong? Do you want
just a few highlights or fantasy colors? All of these questions help us to make
an educated recommendation to you about the best hair for you. We ask that you
come in and get a complimentary consultation.
How long can I wear the extensions?
When you maintain your extensions, they can be worn continuously, there
is no need to remove all of the extensions at once and put in new hair. We
promote a monthly maintenance program that keeps your hair extensions in great
condition, keeps your own hair safe from breakage, and makes wearing extensions
affordable. With proper care and regular maintenance your hair
extensions can last 12 – 24 months before they need to be replaced with new
hair.
How often do I need to maintain my hair extensions?
Depending on how fast your hair grows, it will need
to be maintained every 4 to 6 weeks. This doesn’t mean you need to re-do all of
your extensions this often, it means you re-do a section of them, and the next
month you do a different section, and so on. It is approximately 20 to 25
extensions each maintenance. This is the best care for your hair and budget!
Will hair extensions damage my hair?
When applied properly by a trained hair extension
specialist, and instructions are followed by you, your hair will not be
damaged. They must be brushed daily, shampooed and conditioned with recommended
products, pull them up at night or put them in a loose braid, and monthly
maintenance are the main criteria for keeping your hair in optimal condition.
Can I style my hair with irons, dryers etc?
Yes, you may style your hair with blow dryers, flat
iron, curling iron, taking care not to make direct contact with the seal.
Can you match my hair color and texture?
Yes. The hair comes in over 80 different colors and a several textures.
Colors are typically blended using at least 2 different colors for the
most beautiful effect.
Please keep in mind that we can create the color combination you are seeking for extra $25.00
How long does my hair need to be? How long CAN it be with extensions?
Your hair should be at least 3-4 inches for thickening or
volume and at least 4-5 inches for a full lengthening. Our Extensions are
available in 10”, 16",18”, 20", 22”, 24", 26" & 30"
How are they applied?
Hair extensions can be attached to your head in many different ways
including: gluing, tubing, sewing, and clipping on. Different methods
have different advantages. The method you choose will depend on many
factors: your hair, your lifestyle, your budget, and your needs, for
starters. The two most common hair extension application methods are
fusion & micro-bead.
Fusion
Fusion hair extensions can be applied in different ways:
hot or cold fusion. With hot fusion, heat is used activate a bond to
attach extensions to your hair. This is the more traditional method.
While it does have many happy followers, others say that the heat
bonding causes the extensions to feel stiff and unnatural. These
extensions can last up to four months. Cold fusion is a new method, and
is meant to be gentle for the hair. This method uses a keratin-based
polymer to attach extensions to the root. As this method uses no heat,
it is good for fine or thin hair. The polymer offers more flexibility
than a heat-activated bond, and results in more natural-feeling hair.
For cold fusion hair extensions, many hair stylists use SoCap extensions
and a clear bond. These extensions can last up to six months. Fusion
hair extensions are more labor-intensive (resulting in higher cost) than
other methods.
KERATIN FUSION HAIR EXTENSIONS
Micro-Bead
- This method involves attaching the extension to the
hair using a tiny, color-matched metal bead. There are several
advantages to this method; the extension hair can be reused after
removal, the extension can be applied and removed without the use of
messy latex bond and they are relatively easy to install. Micro-bead
extensions can last up to six months with proper care. Most clients and
stylists prefer micro-bead hair extensions as they can be adjusted
(moved closer to the scalp) as the natural hair grows. Micro-Bead
extensions are almost always the choice for clients who are concerned
with damage to their natural hair.
micro-beads
How long does it last?
With proper care, extensions can stay in your hair for up to 1 year.
There are variables with each person that will be discussed during the
consultation.
How long does the process take?
The time varies depending on the desired look. It can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours.
Does it hurt?
No, properly applied extensions will not hurt. There will
be some discomfort during application and it may take a few days to
become accustomed to the weight of the hair. Some clients report mild
headaches for the first few days or so.
Can I treat my hair the same as before?
The correct brushes, cleansing and styling products will be recommended.
It is important to follow the recommendations made by your stylist.
Some additional care will be required to get the most out of the
application. This will be explained during your consultation.
Can I swim in a pool and go to the beach?
Swim, dance, play tennis, ski. It’s all fine so long as you use the
proper hair care products and methods to keep your hair clean and
healthy. Your stylist will discuss this during your consultation.
Can I have my hair colored with extensions?
Yes, a professional colorist will have no problem
maintaining your hair color. If you decide you want a color change, you
will most likely have to replace your extensions as it will be almost
impossible to get them to match the new color of your natural hair.
Will extensions ruin my hair?
No! With regular maintenance, you can wear extensions for years without
adverse effects. As long as they are put in well and you do your part to
care for them (washing appropriately, getting them tightened every 2-3
months) your extensions will be as good to you as you are to them.
Extensions won't cause breakage. All of the lost hair when you take
them out is due to daily shedding – everyone loses between 100-200 hairs
a day, and when they're stuck in extensions they're not falling out.
How much does it cost?
Cost depends on many factors including, length, color, brand, type,
quantity, and the condition of your hair. The average cost for hair extension starts at
least $6.00 per strand for labor and the cost of the extension hair. The price is broken into 2 parts; the cost of the
hair and the cost for application. There are many factors that can
impact the overall cost. This will be discussed fully during your
consultation. As your hair will be custom-ordered for you, most
stylists will charge for the hair when it is ordered. The average person will need 200-300 strands. If your hair is thicker, add additional 100-200 strands.
According to Stylelist.com, Miley Cyrus once spent $24,000 for her hair extensions.

How are micro-beads removed?
Your hair stylist has a special removal tools to remove the micro-beads.
We do not recommend you removing them yourself.
We do recommend soaking your hair the night before you apply your hair extensions with Citrus Remover (available from your stylist). It is a gentle oil based remover that allows the hair to slide off the hair shaft.
